Our new year contest is officialy over!

Thanks everyone who donated to our contest, we havnt expected to receive that big amount of donations.

Even tho amount of entries isn't huge its surely good enough for a contest like that. It showed us that there are still people who hang around our project and are interested in it (and its money). We hope that in 2017 we will host something bigger and overall will have better days here!

MN New Year 2017 Contest submission time is over! Thanks for everyone who donated, we reached 213 dollars and on 31th of December you will find out who made it to the top!

Don't forget that judges aren't at they final decision yet so you still can make a change in the list. All the likes, favourites and comments about movies will be noticed!

How far can one push the edit? Is it all about fancy effects? Or maybe just about frags? Or is it about 4k textures and sync? Or about the events?

Noone truly knows, and actually noone truly can know, because everything is relative. In other words tastes are different. Some people will say edit doesnt need anything except the color correction, some would say it does need some explanation behind the frags, and some would just show you the reload animation of a gun. And they all will be right, because each one of them enjoys every thing they've created.

But some do it for everything. For frags, fancy effects, 4k textures and sync. And we bet they are questioning themselves everytime... How far can one push the edit?

When you are playing a new game you sometimes catch yourself on a thought that it would be great if here you could do some things that you did in the games you played before. Old CS had a crucial feature, which was allowing you to record a stream with separate HUD of gameplay.
Unfortunately this feature couldn't be transferred to CS:GO but Barabulyko thought that's it's still viable for moviemaking and together with ripieces made a tutorial on how record separate stream for CS:GO HUD.

"Finally! MovieNations contest! What you mean, not MN #4?!"

Ho ho ho! Hello fellas! This year has been very good for MN, we made a lot of things we wanted and there are even more to come, that we described in 11 years anniversary article and it feels so good to be back on the trail that we decided to celebrate it. Long story short, at the November 28 the idea of MN New Year contest was born, at the November 29 everything was filmed, at the November 30 everything was written and viola - contest is live!
