Quake 3
Всем привет =) Это мой новый мувик, в котором я собрал свои лучшие демки за все время моей игры в дефраг.
За этим мувиком стоит долгая история - много лет прошло
с того момента, когда я впервые увидел torture карты (тогда
я подумал, что эти карты просто шутка и никто их не сможет
пройти) до того момента, как я сам стал их проходить - сначала просто, чтобы пройти, а потом уже и на время. Мне всегда казалось, что этот сегмент дефрага сильно недооценен, и поэтому в этом мувике я хотел показать свой взгляд на те карты, которые все обычно представляют чем-то таким, что даже не стоит пытаться проходить.
Название мувика - это название моей любимой карты boris_cab1, и мувик в основном состоит из частей этой карты, плюс одна карта кайроса и однозначно моя лучшая демка - на pea_xpanicx. Все демки из мувика сейчас являются рекордами на q3df.org.
В архиве лежат:
1) Сам мувик
2) Бонусный клип - boris_daytime. Я просто не нашел куда его вставить в основной мувик, поэтому пускай это будет бонусный клип =)
3) Постер + скриншоты
4) Пак карт с замененными текстурами / скайбоксами - включает в себя все карты из мувика кроме pea_xpanicx - так как на движке q3 нельзя скрыть текстуры за скайбоксом и они все равно будут просвечивать
5) Все демки из мувика + все мои демки с рекордами на q3df.org

Hello everyone =) I'm glad to present this defrag movie
which contains my very best tech strafe demos from all time.
There is quite a history behind this movie from the time
I first saw "torture" maps and considered them some kind of
a joke to a point where I found myself not trying to just
finish them but finish them as fast as possible. I feel like
the tech strafe segment of defrag is pretty much underrated
so I always wanted to show them from my point of view, which
I tried to do in this movie.
The name of the movie comes from the name of my favourite map
boris_cab1, and so the movie includes quite a lot of smaller
parts of that map, as well as famous pea_xpanicx map and one
map made by kairos. All demos presented in the movie are
currently world records on q3df.org.
The archive contains:
1) The movie itself
2) Bonus clip - boris_daytime. I just couldn't find a place
where to put it in the main movie, so let it be a bonus clip =)
3) Poster + screenshots
4) Mappack with altered textures / skyboxes - includes all
maps from the movie except pea_xpanicx, because q3 graphics
engine can't render this map the way it was shown in the movie
5) All movie maps demos + all my demos with rank 1 on q3df.org
P.S. For everyone who wonders where did I find all these
skyboxes, a lot of them I took from http://custommapmakers.org
