Locura by mauser

It has been a long time since I released a decent Call of Duty movie, so I don't even know where should I start.

First of all OKCEANZ gave me his demos about 2 years ago, because I told him I would like to make the second part of Locura. I had a lot of motivation at the beginning but eventually as I progressed with the movie it got boring. I lost my motivation and I didn't touch it for more than 6 months. After this I released a small teaser trailer. Since there was a lot of frags from the first movie along with new ones, I changed my mind and decided I will make a remake out of the first moive with old and new frags mixed. I hoped for a motivation boost which will make me finish it. At the beginning I got movtivation, but I failed once again because I stepped into the same situation as before. Another few months passed without touching it. Sometimes I tried to continue editing, hoping I would finish but it didn't go as planned. I even uploaded the unfinished version on my channel because I thought I will never finish this. When people saw it they told me I should really finish it and I really appreciated their opinion.

About a month ago I was playing around with the idea of restarting it once again. I made a new soundtrack and started to edit. Finally I got a really good motivation boost and worked on it instead of being lazy as always. The result is a finished movie which is not Locura 2, not the remake of Locura, but more like an own complete version of Locura (since the first one wasn't finished as far as I know) and a tribute movie for the original editor, dryFiL.

The story behind the title is that locura (spanish) means madness/insanity in english. So I came up with the idea to hide its definition (which I think everyone knows - "Doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results") into the letters.

You can find them tracked individually in different scenes and also you can see them together at the end of the movie and on the attached wallpaper If you happen to download it(It is more visible/readable at the end/on the wallpaper than on the scenes). I won't tell you where can you find these letters, let it be your task :).

Now you wonder how is it in connection with the movie? All I can say is that whoever would make a movie which was already made ?

Lastly I hope you will enjoy my work. I hope it will give you a nice nostalgic feeling, since Call of Duty is pretty much dead for a long time. Thanks for watching.
