This is a movie that I made always when I was just bored out of my brain. I didn't set any deadlines for myself and I also didn't promise anything to Buddha or Ebola. I don't even remember when I started making this project :D. I think it was around January, but hell, I can't be certain. I think this time it shows that I only worked when I felt like it.

The movie is simple. The point of the movie is to make you relaxed. I want the viewer to feel comfortable and relaxed while watching the movie, and afterwards be filled with a simple happy feeling. I'm no expert in psychology, so I guess it's possible that some may be irritated by the whole concept of this movie. Actually, it's more than just a possibility. You just can't pleasure everyone. The only wish I have is that even a handful of people will find comfort in this movie. I'd like to think that by watching this movie, people could feel a certain emotion rising inside them. Be it pleasure, happiness or disgust, I want people to feel something while watching my movie. A movie that doesn't bring out opinions and discussion, isn't a movie that I want to create. Might be that I utterly failed with this goal. Of course the movie works on me since I'm the creator. I made the movie based upon my likings, but I have no guarantee that anyone besides me will feel anything.

The truth is that it's a freaking QUAKE movie. How can you create emotions with quake and two guys jumping around shooting rockets? The music is the deciding factor for everyone in this matter. Instantly, if you hate the song that I used, you won't find the movie fascinating at all. The whole movie is built from fragile bits and pieces and the only thing holding them together, is the music. If you hate the music, there's atleast the tricks, but HAH, of course I've almost completely ruined them with my editing! You gotta love me for making movies only to the ideal group of editing freaks. I leave the people who crave for content licking their fingers as I blast forward cutting every two seconds and leaving no scene without effects.

As you may have noticed, I created effects for this movie. There most commong one is the leaves flying across the screen. It's such a simple effect and everyone that has even touched after effects will know how to do it. But isn't it just in it's own simplistic way beautiful and relaxing? I guess many have created this kind of effect before. One effect in the movie is copied from Mr. Andrew Kramer and those who have followed his work, will know which one. The effects are in the movie to boost the overall feeling. I did include some "before and after" shots in the .rar so you can see what I've done. Imagine the movie without all the effects and color correction. Would be a boring movie for sure. Well that's just stating the obvious. Silly me.

I found out the other day that I have a female fan! She doesn't understand anything that's going on in my movies, but still she enjoys watching them. I feel that I've accomplished something when even non-gamers can enjoy my movies. Even so, this movie will most likely be my last. I won't be making movies anymore, but I can't say that I won't make movies ever again. Who knows what ideas will hit me some day. I just don't have any new ideas anymore and I don't want to abuse the same ideas all the time. Even this movie is the same as almost all my other movies. There's kinda nothing new in it. The gaming movie scene is dying. There's no denying it. All the old chaps have stopped making movies and the new generation has just no idea how to be original. I'm not saying that I'm some god and better than anyone else. There's lots of moviemakers that are WAY better than I can ever be. That doesn't mean that I can't notice how the movies nowadays are just plain boring.

Has anyone else ever wondered why people still watch the old classic movies from 5 years ago? It's not because of the effects,
content or quality of the videos. It's because of the feeling they create while watching them. Everyone remembers Zaknafein's Eolithic. The quality in the movie is awful, the frags are average in nowadays standards and there's almost no effects. Still, it's one of the best movies ever made. Why is that? It's the one factor that is missing from nowadays movies almost completely: Feeling. When the intro ends and Within Temptation's Ice Queen kicks off, you just feel great while watching it. It's because of the atmosphere that Zaknafein created for the movie that it's still watched every day by hundreds of people. Another good
example is a much newer movie Eve by crzyfst. The movie is well synched and also creates an awesome atmosphere. This is what seperates the talented editors from the average. People remember a movie that made them feel something.

I did make this movie more for you guys than myself. I'd like to think it's some kind of a parting gift - my last attempt to revive the movie scene. Enjoy the movie, if you can. negoxe out.
