This CS:GO fan map adds Rainbow Six Siege-like destruction to Inferno
Author: US jannick
Destruction - d. H. the ability to break through walls and other surfaces - is a key feature of Rainbow Six Siege gameplay. Using explosive charges or certain gadgets in exactly the right place can open up all sorts of new possibilities for thwarting the enemy. Now, thanks to a new fan-made Counter-Strike map, you can use this type of tactic in another of the best FPS games: Global Offensive Map.

The custom CS: GO map ``Destructible Inferno'' by Lion Doge does exactly what its name suggests - it adds a whole layer of destructibility to CS: GO's European city destruction map, which means that many of its elements can be breached or even broken into Come crashing down. In Hell, the creator explains, you'll see a ton of different types of map destruction, "from falling pots to falling towers," the effects of which depend entirely on you, the player ("and sometimes the chickens").

"Terrorists will have charges to break through walls," says Lion Doge, "so keep your eyes open! Using barrels and breakable crates as cover may not be a good idea."

They also explain that in the game's casual mode, everyone gets two explosive charges (including the anti-terrorists), so if you choose to play this mode, "prepare for even more chaos." This new type of gameplay is a small step beyond the usual wallhanging in CS: GO. It's also great that the tower event on the map has a "small chance" of collapsing if a bomb goes off, which you can see in the images on the map page:

While this fan-created map brings its own new tactical twist to Valve's Shooter, it's also somewhat reminiscent of the destruction elements of Rainbow Six Siege, so it would be a great option for fans of Ubisoft's shooter to try CS: GO. However, it should be noted that the creator recommends trying it with friends rather than robots, as the latter doesn't know how to use the charges.

If you want to add a touch of destruction to CS: GO, you can find Lion Doge's custom CS: GO map here on the Steam Workshop. We also have some CS: GO and CS: GO smoking tips and other MMO service that you can check out at
